EXTRAVAGANZA is an international pole and aerial dance championship held in Budapest, offering extremely high-standard conditions.

Why EXTRAVAGANZA?

Because we're looking for the show! Nothing is too much here. The main goal is for every performance to provide a stunning, memorable, and unforgettable experience for the audience.

Who organizes the competition?

Two foundations collaborate in organizing EXTRAVAGANZA:

• Art for Pole Sports Foundation – President: Barbara Pálmaffy (Pole Artistic Hungary, Pole Queen, CarnivalofCharacters)
• Kollár Sport and Art Foundation – President: Lilla Kollár (Rebel Freestyle Competition, CarnivalofCharacters)

Who is EXTRAVAGANZA recommended for?

We recommend it to anyone who dislikes boredom, is open to new experiences, and wishes to perform on stage under high-quality conditions worthy of artists. We welcome all competitors aged 6 and up, from amateur to professional levels!

What categories can one enter?

You can enter in individual, duo, and group categories.

What should competitors focus on the most?

In the performances, the emphasis is on creativity and extravagance! The more striking and unique the costume, makeup, and props, the better. Pay close attention to the story: let it be captivating or entertaining, exciting – or all of these combined! If you want to be dramatic, then be properly dramatic!

What apparatus can one perform on?

You can perform on a dance pole or any aerial apparatus.
